If Replicant does not support your phone, CyanogenMod + F-Droid is the 'least  
worst' solution.  As you can see on the FSFE's 'Free your Android' page  
(https://fsfe.org/campaigns/android/liberate.en.html), with CyanogenMod:

"With the exception of some non-free device drivers, your phone should run  
only Free Software".
