No. I am suggesting *we* (the free software community) develop the networking
pieces (reusing existing free software libraries) that are missing to get
those free software games working directly on top of GNU/Linux and not
through a "platform". The games will probably have to be modified as well but
it can be done if they are free software.
That said, now that I have read some of your post, I am not sure I can trust
your claim that "there is plenty of FLOSS on Steam". Can you list at least
some of those games?
