Yea- it's a debate worth having. I'm of the opinion if they're willing to
head toward free software it shouldn't matter too terribly much.
I'm personally going to continue avoiding Google, Lenovo, and other similar
products even if I'm not perfect. It's hard. Real hard. It's like avoiding a
tracker (ie cell phone/mobile phone). They are *really* hard to ditch.
I've moved away from some of the devices and products that I don't like
(Google, Intel, Lenovo, etc). I'm guilty of having had a Lenovo for example.
It was in the 'before time' for me, but none-the-less. I also have another
little device. It doesn't run Google's software or anything like that, but..
it's sadly something I still posses.
