Sorry for interfering but I guess (but I'm not sure) that a group exists with your user name so that you can insert users as members of the group.
Say user "organization" has a group whose name is "organization" and he wants to add users (either through the user-friendly "adduser" command, or the straight forward "useradd" command), then he associates these users as the "organization" group as theirs.
