30% of your root partition (where the programs are installed) is occupied,  
i.e., 5.1 GB out of 19 GB. Freeing space is not "necessary". You can do it (I  
explained you two ways: from the "Synaptic Package Manager" or with 'sudo  
apt-get remove') though. For example to have less applications proposed in  
your main menu.

And only 1% of your /home partition (where the user files are) is occupied,  
i.e., 212 MB out of 128 GB.
