************* The following message is relayed to you by [email protected] ************ Hi Pete, Everyone I have probably veered of onto a different subject but here is something I have been wondering about for a while. Has Anyone considered that in doing this mind or spiritual work how far you can actually go before you end up completely out of agreement with people around you.
My Wife was watching a James Bond film last night and She said something to me about something that happened in the film as if it was something important, I says to her, there's no one there you know, you are just looking at a pattern of lights and colours on a screen, there is no actual person there. She had not a clue what I was talking about, neither had my Daughter who happened to be there, it's quite obvious to me though. How about when a person starts to see through the illusion of time in the mind or has completed level 3, which is what the first Levels of TROM are about, if someone comes up to me and starts talking about some item in their past would I be able to communicate so freely with them as I used to or would I recognise they are just looking at a mock up of some sort. There's another thought, if time in the mind is an illusion, how about physical universe time, is that real, did those things that appear to be in the past that I see in my mind actually ever happen or is it just my particular story made up to satisfy certain conditions in my life now. I notice how the ego likes to get in there, my story is so much more important and different than anyone else's or so I like to think. I can start to get into some weird modes of thinking on that one. Have I ever had a past as I like to think I have, or just a mockup in PT, sounds ridiculous I know, I dunno, something strange in there.
