************* The following message is relayed to you by [email protected] ************ Hi Leon Thanks for your message, I don't know if what I write here is a bit off the subject but I was looking over one way of being, lets call it Serenity of Beingness and then another state as being active with a high drive to accomplish some task or goal.
I mentioned something about that in one of my messages and it wasn't so clear then, here is how I am seeing it now. There definitely is a state or way of being which I call Serenity of Beingness, I am sure most people have experienced this at some time or other even if they don't understand what it is but it's a sort of Oneness with everything, everything is just fine as it is, way above the effort band but as I said, this state seemed to have no drive to accomplish anything. So what came to my mind was the subject of identities, in the Serenity of Beingness state a Being is aware of great space but when they take on an identity that space closes down into a focus into what the person is doing. One of the things I enjoy doing is building computers I then take on the identity of a computer builder, there is a drive to accomplish this task, an excitement about achieving the finished product, problems arise that have to be overcome, things like that which to me is a completely different way of being compared to the higher state, it's fun, enjoyment. It also occurred to me that states achieved by meditation or which just randomly arrive like waking up one day in that Serenity state is not my natural way of being, being in the game is the fun, assuming an identity of some sort is what it's about. These higher states never last for long, if I were to do a meditation for instance and come out floating on air so to speak it wouldn't be long before my Wife found me a job around the house to do and then I am straight down into an identity and that state is lost. So it seems great space is exchanged for an identity. Not saying I got everything right there just having a look over these different states and trying to get different understandings about them. Thanks for your message.
