Hi maybe you guys can shed a little light on this subject.  The self  
Analysis book as well as many other self help books I have seen have long lists 
 
that start as "Recall as time when" and then proceeds to state a happy or  
pleasurable event in your past.  What is the actual effect of sitting a  
doing these lists? Just to get you to remember happy times or does it have a  
more permanent (rewiring) of the brain which actually makes one happier by  
constantly remembering happy moments for the past?   Thanks you for  your 
insights!!
