DAVEH:  Just out of curiosity, Laura, do you believe a covenant is necessary for salvation?
BUT works should follow a salvation decision.  Laura
What do you mean by covenant?  Laura
DAVEH:  Simply put, to me a covenant is a two way promise.  God makes promises to his people, and his people make promises back.  For instance, the Lord has promised salvation to those who 'believe in Jesus'.  And, those who have faith and 'believe in Jesus' covenant with him to take upon themselves his name and keep his commandments.  >From my LDS perspective, that covenant is formalized by baptism.
