Now that I have given you the true lowdown regards my meeting with you and the impressions I received then, maybe we can get to know one another on other levels than you attacking Mormonism.  (You do seem more than a little obsessed with doing so.) (:>)

Ruben:

Im sorry I must have missed that post.  When and where did we meetand did I yell at you or was I just a wild bellowing type of guy?

***Blaine:    The meeting took place on the North side of Temple Square in Salt Lake City during a conference in 2001 or 2002--not sure of the date.  The Conference Center was across the street.  You and Dean (Carroll) were together.  I later heard of the underwear waving, but you were apparently not into that at the time we met.  I talked to both of you for about twenty minutes.  We talked about the  Salt Lake Temple and you wanted to know why you could not go into it to preach.  I had no idea how to get it across to you why you couldn't do that.    I may have given a few superficial reasons why you could not go into the temple,  in fact I think I did make some effort to help you understand,  but generally, my impression was that for you to even ask showed an almost total lack of comprehension of  what your question entailed.  It was like aski ng a Jew why you could not go into the Holy of Holies, and pray on the Ark of the Covenant. (:>)  I knew then that your understanding of Mormonism was very limited.

But Blaine -after meeting us you gave a favorable report to us here on TT and even mentioned that you were impressed with Ruben and that he was a nice Guy. And if you think we didn't understand your reasons for not taking us into the Temple-you are mistaken. Our pretend ignorance was a way to get you to take us into this unholy Temple-and as I remembered you considered doing so. And if you had taken us in-I assure you that you life would have changed much and the Temple would never been the same either. We were gentle to you at the temple because you had not show any signs of being a worker of Iniquity. Your were so nervous that you were literally shaking in you boots-and we felt sorry for you-so we showed you kindness. But now you seem to be accusing Christ of sexual sin-May God have mercy on your soul-to be able to make these types of statements speaks volumes for you state of heart. As for the rest I will let Ruben answer for himself.
