'ff.'  means, basically,'as follows' --a common Eng. abbrev. :)

(i think it's in DavidMs list of such abbreviations at http://innglory.org)

ftr, the original post below, may not have been delivered here--not sure/why

I don't understand your abbreviation Gary, what is (ff)?
Actually I was writing to Deanhave  about love again - as he had not fully quoted
the scripture in Acts.  Paul was out of line and he repented for rebuking the
high priest.  Sorry about the editing. I didn't put all those keystrokes in and
don't know where they came from.   Judy

jt: what's this (ff.) about? from/to whom? what context? g

Where was Paul's love here Gary?
So Paul broke God's law and he had to repent.
LOVE and upon this hang all the law and the prophets.

<DIV style=""background: " #cccccc\?>So long as you are unable to separate the person from their sin and so long as you keep on insisting that God hates people  you are walking in lawlessness... I know it's easier to rebuke and condemn.  It's hard to lay down your life in love but this is what is required of us in Christ as his ambassadors to reconcile people to God.
