Dean writes:
How can i accept truth from someone that may or may not be speaking the
same language-i consider the source of the information i accept and have
not yet found the Mormons to be honest. If we took each word Blaine stated
in the mailer above-How many would match what is written in the English
dictionary? If there is a doubt that even one doesn't -that is enough for
caution.Your words indicate that i am viewed as someone who walks around in
fear of Mormons as you keep mentioning fear/afraid. i have no more fear of
Mormons then I have for any other false prophet-Caution would be the words
that would better fit here.Concerning the issue "of old" law mentioned by
Blain-Look closer at his wording. He is saying that the law of Jesus is
"higher" then the commandments of God.This is the reason i use caution with
false teachers-You words would have me ignore that caution. i informed him
that the teaching of Jesus took the understanding of the commandment to a
deeper level-but that the commandments still exist-to which you could learn
from as it moves from the act to the intent of the heart. If you entertain
thoughts of adultery in you heart then you have committed the act of sin
already by those thoughts-that is why Paul said to take every thought into
captivity (the thoughts will come but once realized-one is to stop that
direction of thinking).Blaine's words corrupt the purity of Matt.:5. How
can one even conclude they are even close to being Christians-or that they
believe the bible to be holy-their words indicate that they believe that
the bible is only holy enough to be used to destroy soul's in hell and one
should be fearful in helping then accomplish that task- as your words
indicate you are doing. Beware of False teachers/Prophets who come in
sheep clothing. Some groups/persons should be avoided-what some people calls
bigotry others call common sense-It is good sense to adhere to God's words
and avoid such people-by their fruits we shall know them.
