The problem we have with this is that the "old law" is still in effect.Gods
commandments are to be observed not replaced-Jesus didn't come to do away
with the law-but to complete what the law said he would do-He fulfilled the
law. The emotions you mentioned would fit under the law. The greatest
commandment to love the Lord thy God with all thy might and you neighbor as
yourself are of the first and second table of the commandment given on
mount Sinai-they are the same. To look away from Jesus as being the focus
of the bible is a serious mistake. To hold up and declare  so-called
righteous underwear-as being nothing but underwear with no righteous value
is not sin nor heart heartiness. It is simple telling those that are
deceived to look elsewhere for righteousness-even to Jesus Christ.
