Judy: Judy didn't say this Dean. Jesus commands it.# You are a liar Judy-Jesus never commanded me to loveDaveH or any other worker of iniquity-Repent!
DAVEH: I must say, you do seem to make snap judgments, Dean. Does that ever get you into trouble?Dean writes* 12/22:Coming from someone whom has been here for yrs now without making a judgement call-You would know one when you saw one?
DAVEH: Your comment about Judy being a liar struck me as a snap judgment. Perhaps I'm wrong.....have you been thinking for a long time that she is a liar?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Will God make allowances for her lack of knowledge?I don't know as I cannot answer the first question-must one full understand the God of the bible before salvation? No.Must they fully understand the consequences of their sin before salvation?Yes-does Judy fully understand-I doubt it- but time will tell. If so, is she not 'good' in Jesus' eye? And.....if she is good in His eye, why do you see evil instead?% What evil? Judy told me a lie (Jesus never said that I must love you as you work at evil-which includes manipulation-tell me how much thought did you put into this reply?) I called her on it-the intent of her heart when doing this would decide evil or not-and I don't yet understand her heart-Her zeal is there though-but her aim is terrible.DAVEH: Hmmmmmmm.........I suppose the same might be said of you, Dean. *And where would you have me aim that zeal ?
DAVEH: Inward.
------------------------------------------------------------- Might you consider there may just be a misunderstanding between the two of you that brought you to this point, instead of jumping to the conclusion that Judy wronged you?%Are you really worried about our relationship DaveH-or is this an edge to use in this debate-to confuse truth.
DAVEH: I just find the way you treat people to be very interesting, Dean. I would have thought you would consider Judy to be more on your team than mine. Yet you tend to treat her rather causticly. * Caus-tic Sharply biting, esp.with sarcastic intentions. Wrong word Dave-as I am being direct with Judy to help her realize she is standing against the Gospel of Jesus Christ-the warm fuzzies will not do that.
DAVEH: Perhaps it is the nature of an email forum, but to me your words seemed caustic. Of course I am coming from an LDS-biased perspective. I wonder if other TTers read your words as I have....
But I do recognize your attempt to draw her deeper into you camp-by appearing to defend her.
DAVEH: Ohhhhh boy, Dean. I don't mind defending folks who need help, but the last thing I want to do is to cause Judy more grief for defending Mormons in this Forum. Think not that I am trying to defend her, but rather consider my questions to you as though I am trying to figure out why you do what you do, and why do you say the things you say. I am interested in YOU, Dean. Your methods and beliefs are so foreign to what I'm used to in Mormonism, that I find you rather fascinating. I can understand you thinking (calling) me a liar, but I fail to understand why you would treat a presumed Christian in a like manner. It seems that anybody (viz., DavidM and Judy) who happen to associate with Mormons in a relatively courteous way are apt to draw your wrath. (Am I wrong with that assessment?) Wow!!!.... to me that is a mighty strong hate you have for me/us/Mormonism to reflect upon your personal relationships with others of a similar faith but a different perspective of TT and of the nature of carrying on religious conversations.
I perceive that you want every discussion (whether it is yours or another TTers) to be a battle that is only won by you or those who think like you do. Apparently there is no room in your religious makeup for any tolerance to views contrary to what you think is correct. Is that right, Dean.....or am I reading you wrong? Anyway....I hope you don't mind me being curious about what and how you are thinking in your presence here in TT.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Must you always manipulate some young ignorant Christian to defend you-is that a smile I see on your face?
DAVEH: LOL.......Naw......that's a <VeryBigGrin) And I'm not laughing at Judy for (presumably---by you) falling into my (perceived by you) trap, but rather your ability to blow it all out of proportion. I think you are visualizing demons that don't exist, but I'm sure you will disagree with that! IMHO, Dean.....you are your own worst enemy when you try to find fault with others.DAVEH: Don't flatter yourself, Dean!* And if I do this -I give you permission to remind me not to.
DAVEH: What?!?!?!......you are giving your "permission" to a Mormon! Are you losing your grip, Dean!?!?!?! Pretty soon Judy is going to have to rebuke you for giving in to a Mormon boy!!! :-)BTW Dean......I can almost detect a hint of a smile on your face......
