power and glory, the Lord told him that IF he lived to be such and such
an age (looked for this passage, but could not find it), he would see the
face of the Saviour.  This indicated that either the Lord knew when JS
would die, and didn't want to upset him by telling him he would
eventually be murdered, or the Lord
