Do you believe the heavens are closed, and God no longer speaks to man as he did in Bible times? I used to be under the impression that was common Protestant doctrine. However, after joining TT I thought I was informed that I had a mistaken impression, as it is not the case at all. I was told prophets do exist in the Protestant realm.It is my opinion that the Holy Spirit now has a monopoly on revelation outside of the Holy Bible. FWIW.....To me this seems a pretty important question. Prophets were necessary in Bible times, and it seems they would be handy to have in present day.
