Exactly my point, Perry, better that a photo of one popular athlete's arm covered with tattoos be made to appear clean, than for the entire student body of Brigham Young University to get a green light to indulge themselves in disfiguring their bodies, and all the other abominations that go along with such practices, such as nose rings, belly button jewels, eyebrow and genitalia piercings, multiple earrings, etc.

The university already had already condoned that behavior by recruiting the athelete in the first place. Besides, didn't the original article say the pic was altered to go on promotional literature? So, it was not the student body they were deceiving...it was potential students and potential money donors.
