This is good Gary, thanks for sharing your thoughts and the
verses from Micah 7 - I remember a verse from the Psalms which
reads "Man in his pomp is like the bests that perish" - it always
stuck with me but have to leave right now and don't have time
to find it.

Where does the Holy Spirit [come to]  dwell?
animals don't have this option, to be born again..

the modern war against the Holy Spirit involves the animalization of Man...think on it..e.g., what's idolatry?

to me it appears that Scripture deals with the foregoing modern issue, the animalization of Man, much more subtly than it does the animalization of God..

unlike the ancients, who were closer to Moses and God conquering Egypt than we are, the way that modern philosophers and 'scholarship' work/s is first to 'kill' God, to give no hope that th' Redeemer whom Judy describes, whom she loves and Moses did, too, even exists..

then these professors and their disciples ravage/d and plunder/ed Man in the meaning of Genesis 1:27/the 6th day of Creation, the outcome being to animalize mankind..

have/n't they suceeded?

while we are told plainly that 'male and female created he them' 'in his image', how is it that most mankind today accepts an origin elsewhere..e.g., from the cosmos, the caves, from the swamp, the jungle?

the point that builds so well in this thread is that even Christians can be infected with this demonic  Ebola from Hell...and in truth, many of us are..and, potentially, if not already anti-Christ as a result..

But before jumpg offa the St. Peter's Bridge:) check out the prophet Micah--re/read all 7 chapters carefully; he could see it comin'--praise God! (e.g.:)

                   Micah 7:1 What misery is mine!

I am like one who gathers summer fruit

at the gleaning of the vineyard;

there is no cluster of grapes to eat,

none of the early figs that I crave.

2 The godly have been swept from the land;

not one upright man remains.

All men lie in wait to shed blood;

each hunts his brother with a net.

3 Both hands are skilled in doing evil;

the ruler demands gifts,

the judge accepts bribes,

the powerful dictate what they desire

they all conspire together.

4 The best of them is like a brier,

the most upright worse than a thorn hedge.

The day of your watchmen has come,

the day God visits you.

Now is the time of their confusion.

5 Do not trust a neighbor;

put no confidence in a friend.

Even with her who lies in your embrace

be careful of your words.

6 For a son dishonors his father,

a daughter rises up against her mother,

a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law

a mans enemies are the members of his own household.

13 The earth will become desolate because of its inhabitants,

as the result of their deeds...

||

18 [But] Who is a God like you,

who pardons sin and forgives the transgression

of the remnant of his inheritance?..
