CP, Ps 82, standg on its own merit, can not be interpreted properly, strictly to counter even the Mormon twistdness. Mormons and Christians, both, are confronted by its message which does not (in keeping w/ Gen 1:27) reduce mankind to animal status, nor elevate (in keepg w/ Gen 1:27) mankind to God.

Ps. 82 defines mankind as creatures created as 'gods' (re-readg vss. 6,7 carefully; the point confirmed by JC in John does not confirm the Mormoneze:); thus setting all (of us) on equal footing.

Therefore, it is unjust to discriminate against humans (as God's creation or creatures, as 'gods' in Ps. 82) in any category--meaning, in part that, now, street preachers really do have a radical message for downtown SLC and the Kingston clan/s!

In sum, while Asaph, the Psalmist in #82, confronts society, inc Mormons, on the issue of arrogant, partic warped financial/political justice, hence our injustice, there is no basis for the caste-ing of global society

IOW, there is no biblical justification for class system poverty or, in Christ, for radically impoverishing vast multitudes of people, say as 'homeless' 'poor'; or for classifying vast numbers of people smugly as spiritually impoverished 'dogs' (from the same Psalmist versus the contemporary Jewish mindset)...

(good conversation, CP..let 'er roll:)
