John,

Is it possible that your conscience is seared when you can’t tell the difference between God’s morality and superstition? What “superstitions” are you referring to?

Sometimes, also, I think one must be taught right from wrong before your conscience can say, “Oh, yes—that’s right!” And then you think, I should have known that all along—I had a feeling about that.

Rom 6:13 “But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will  guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.” Do you think that you have a better conscience since receiving the Holy Spirit?

Rom 9: 1 “I am telling the truth in Christ, I am not lying, my conscience testifies with me in the Holy Spirit,
that I have great sorrow and unceasing grief in my heart.”   Does your conscience differ from the Holy Spirit?

Conscience

When you say that the conscience cannot access absolute right and wrong, I see some truth in that  as I look to my own life.  From personal experience, conscience cannot tell the differenc between moral code and superstition.
