Lance and Friends often use such “tongue in cheek humor” because they think we don’t agree with them due to being are undereducated rednecks who haven’t yet ventured beyond the local Wal-Mart.  We, as always, turn the other cheek….not that they even notice that we are aware of their attitudes (some worse than others’).  Some days it does get a bit wearing.  It is no way to persuade anyone to come over to your point of view.  I could quote several verses about the “wisdom” of man being foolishness to God, but won’t bother.   Izzy
