Izzy:Bill, in affirming the value of Jonathan's post on M vs C, is quite correct. May I suggest that you read it again. Have your husband read it. If you attend a 'group' then, let them read it. Continue with this until you discern the heart of it's meaning.          Noah, Jonathan's son, has many years of fun, frolic and freewheeling (open-structured) conversation to look forward to with his dad(Oh, and Mom too..its just that she didn't write this)         Does anyone on TT disagree with the distinction put forward by Jonathan?         TT is priviledged to have two such informed and literate contributers (Jonathan et Bill). And which one do you think God would judge more harshly in the end? Izzy PS ALL laws are �moral� (or sometimes immoral) laws.  Do you do dispute that? What are laws against theft except �moral� laws?     Let me give another quick example.  Imagine that I behaved completely moral to my wife.  I did everything right, treated her kindly, never cheated on her and was always polite.  It would not take my wife long to see through me; although I did nothing legally wrong to her, without the love that God has placed in my heart for her my behaviour is empty.  My behaviour was spot on, my heart was not.  Moralism is like this.  My behaviour, while noteworthy (others who saw how well I treated my wife would be jealous of our marriage) lacked the basis in relationship.    Legislating moral behaviour is a whole other post�..   Back to exile with me!   Jonathan
