The Bible says that David was a man after God's own heart. It also teaches us that David's only sin was in the matter of Uriah the Hittite.
1 Kings 15:5
(5) Because David did that which was right in the eyes of the LORD, and turned not aside from any thing that he commanded him all the days of his life, save only in the matter of Uriah the Hittite.
Therefore, I wonder what you think about the following passage, and if it has any applicability for us.
Psalms 139:21-22
(21) Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee?
(22) I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies.

Got a question David. How would you reconcile what David said here about hating his enemy, with Jesus command to love your enemy?
I realize that you are asking basically the same question of Suzy, but I would appreciate your thoughts also.
