The
idea of making the Bible relevant to today is actually quite important. The
original meaning can become useless unless it's brought forward. Parts of the
Bible that speak of the relationship between slave and master are meaningless
and could be cut out of Scripture unless the intent can be modified to enhance
employee-employer relationships. Follow Torah in this manner (as I do) and you
will experience blessing in your business endeavors... just as is promised in
Scripture.
This
is liberal thinking. This is the thinking of the Pharisees. This was the
thinking of Yeshua. I am, however, still a moral conservative, but I am a
liberal in the interpretation of Scripture... just like my
Messiah.
