Lance, I believe you just said,  We (HK) are NOT spirit. We do not have a spirit! We do not have a soul!   However, there are many scriptures that tell us Man has a spirit.  When you disregard these, it is easy to see how some would ask you if scripture means anything to you.  Zechariah 12:1 “This is the word of the LORD concerning Israel. The LORD , who stretches out the heavens, who lays the foundation of the earth, and who forms the spirit of man within him, declares:,,,”  There are also many scriptures that tell us that Man has a soul: Matt 15:26 What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?

Now it is your turn to tell me that we have no way of discerning what these words mean and/or that you are open to “other possibilities” (meaning you reject what God has written).  Izzy

We (HK) are NOT spirit. We do not have a spirit! We do not have a soul! Can/does the Spirit of Christ/God/Holy Spirit indwell some of HK? Yes. Please say back to me in your own words what 1. you believe I said 2. what you believe 3. what you understood Judy to believe  I honestly want to read your own thought processes.

Lance, I’ll have to have confirmation of that directly from your wife, thank you. J  As for my question, I consider it to be quite VALID, and deserving of an ANSWER.  What on earth do you mean”think it through”?????  You SAID you do not possess a spirit! So do you or don’t you????? I refuse to come up with a question that you can answer more easily—you brought it up. If you refuse to answer, I can only assume you mean what you said, and that you do not believe you have the Holy Spirit. Izzy

HK is a living, while breathing, soul. HK does not HAVE a soul but IS soul.HK is not spirit nor do we possess A spirit. May I, preemptively, suggest that on this very important topic, language (original) matters. Hebrew 'monism' is our template here. Paul, in no way disagrees with this.

differentiates mankind from the animals.

The Hebrew text (as a rule) deals strictly with action,i.e., verb forms as opposed to static "To Be" forms. For instance, Echad (One) in Deuteronomy 6:4 is a VERB. -- slade

jt: How IYO would the above change the face that God is Spirit and so is Man?
