Good point, Slade. However the mind/brain is physical.  That leaves the consciousness, which I believe is part of our soul/spirit, is it not? 

 

The mind cane be looked at as physical. You've proven that. I, however, see the three terms [mind/brain/consciousness] as synonymous terms for "intellect." I hope you see that. I concur we have a physical brain, but I see that as parts of the elemental particles called "dust"

 

God did not breath the physical into Adam, but the spirit.  Do you agree or disagree? Izzy
