jt: Thanks for that Terry, my late FIL is a perfect example.  He had a 4th grade education and book learning was definitely not his forte, although he had all kinds of country wisdom.  He could grow things and take care of live stock. He gave his animals shots and sewed up dogs that had been gored by pigs. He was a godly man with a giving heart and the only book in his house was the KJV Bible.  He could read and understand that and he was an influence for God upon all he came in contact with (including me).

P.S. I was surprised to see that Vee shoots a gun - she looks too sweet - but must have a lot of what it takes :)

Jesus never advised anyone to learn a language to know the truth, and I suspect that He knew all along that English speaking people would someday be part of the body of Christ. I would not even be surprised to find one or two people in Heaven that are illiterate.
