Actually, some of the brethren at Corinth, perhaps, believed in more than one god but served only one  -------------    someone might try reading I Cor 8.

But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.

........which brings me to my question, John:  When referring to God, the Father's creation, Paul refer to of, but when referring to Christ's creation, he qualifies it by.....do Protestants consider the importance of the contrasting terms of attribution?
