I believe the KJV is God's word for us
I believe it has been proven thru the years and is still the standard all new versions wish to compare themselves to.
I believe it is infallible
The "revisions" you refer to are not comparable to the revisions of the modern versions.
They are not of the same type
The new revisions have wholsale erradication of verses and words that affect doctrine
The "revisions" of the KJV were mostly printers errors and FONT changes
In almost 400 years & four "revisions" even the KJV's enemies have not been able to come up with but 400 items of which 72% are spelling changes corrected within a few years of 1611
Printing was a painstaking business in those days.
hardly the same quality of revision as seen in the new versions!
