So you assume that hurricanes are the work of the Holy Spirit of God G?  What about the storm on the sea of Galillee, the one Jesus was sleeping through when the disciples were all fearful that they would die?  Jesus stood up and commanded "Peace, Be still"

My first question to you is - Was this storm also from the Holy Spirit - Was Jesus commanding the Father who He said "is greater than He"????

Second question is - Why So many ad hominems below Gary?.   judyt

God is orderly? E.g., ask the Floridians alive in Christ after last hurricane season about it.. the astute among them may feel your comments refer to the way only you (and maybe Bob Jones, III) perceive God, not necessarily to a universal truth perceived by redeemed humanity, by God's creation

..also, the notion that you're view averts a rational 'contradiction' gives insight into your presuppostions involving the Bible as: the mind of God

..the biblical Word seems to have no personal meaning or qualities in your Spock-like communiques to,  e.g., Bill, Terry, lowly me (as I'm about to get blasted:)

Since God is a God of order why would He contradict Himself like this in His Word ... using terms [in Mark and Luke] that are in opposition to one another?
