Would you like a couple of instances where people's suffering made God relent in judgment and wrath?
David was suppose to die for his sin but God let him live because he repented.

Where is the repentance in the life of Samson or the confession for Abrahams weakness or the gross discontent over his drunkedness in Noah or Paul's confession of remorse for his role in the murder of Stephen? It is there but not in print. How can this be? Because God's ultimate love is assumed by all these men -- never considering that they were excluded. Their sins were stepping stones to destruction, but they obviously changed course (if they were ever off course) because of this Great Assumption.
