Actually, the fact that she was marginal as a RCC
was something several who knew her revealed in interviews on Fox.
jt: I don't know what they mean by
"marginal" Were they able to see her heart? I heard her brother say
she attended Mass and he
lived in the same bldg. The
husband was a non practicing Lutheran so that would have taken a little effort
on her part.
And what do you care if she is a marginal or active
RCC member? You have condemned the RCC and it's membership so many
times on TT as to make such a well attested fact.
jt: I care about accuracy
and as for what I have said about the RCC in the past. Fact is, you don't pay attn to
what I say JD; where I
fit in
your own ideas has a much higher priority. What I have said
in the past and what I repeat now is that I hate the RC system/structure.
I have NEVER
said that I hate the ppl who are seduced by that or any other false system and
would appreciate your not putting these
words in my mouth.
Concerning my mother-in-law -- you know very little about the Holy Spirit if you think that the Spirit has jerk her out of Mormonism as
some sort of test concerning her salvation. It
might, but in her case, it has not done so.
jt: To begin with JD, why are you calling the Holy
Spirit an "it"? He is a person, not only that, the third person in the
Godhead and God
does not "jerk" anyone anywhere. However, He is
life and truth and when life is there evidence of such life should be observable
by a
hunger for truth (they are siamese
twins).
What our Mormon friends do not understand and what you will not admit to,
apparently, is that there was no time when the RIGHT CHURCH EXISTED except in
the Mind of God and via the blood of Christ. The First Church was
steeped in legalism. On the day of Pentecost, how many left the
religion that was now only an open shell for a Faith birthed from its
context?
jt: The first Church at Antioch and at Jerusalem
consisted of "those who were called". I'm not sure how you define "legalism" but
I don't see
them as "legalistic"
None. Nobody left. And the leadership of the
continuing legalistic wing of the church was involved in the very the
death of Paul.
jt: Are you classifying the dying system as "the
legalistic wing of the church?"

I don't judge ppl so the eternal destiny of this girl is not my problem. I would share Jesus with her if given the opportunity.
Also your information is incorrect JD - she was attending Mass until the day she collapsed - so was a practicing RC until
the end. As for your mother-in-law; the point I was trying to make is that if she is truly a born again believer then she will
let go of the LDS heresy because the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth. judyt.
