No, but not because God cannot or does not reveal knowledge to people, but because having studied the man, I conclude that he was a fraud.  For one thing, he lied about being able to translate the Egyptian papyri from which he claimed to have produced the book of Abraham.  For another thing, his legacy are organizations that are no less flawed than the ones he claimed to be replacing.  These other organizations each claim to be the only true church, yet they all detract from the actual true churches of Jesus Christ which continue on the earth.  Bad fruit means bad prophet.
