I may be as informed on the Mormon 'faith' as yourself.

Yes, you may be. But that is not the issue.

Some years back I discovered myself to have known more concerning the LDS than the majority of those with whom I spoke.

What does that mean? I have found that the majority of the Christians I speak to do not even know who Joseph Smith is!

Furthermore, do you truly believe that they are "latter day saints" and all that it implies (and since you may be as informed as I about mormonism, you may know all that it implies)? Do you think that name which Satan has given them applies? If not, then why do you support Satan by using it? To use that name is to buy into the deception that is the mormon church. I use mormonism with a little g to not show any reverence towards it's tenets, founder, or inspirer, and to be honest, "Smithism" is probably the most accurate term, but I avoid it since it sometimes confuses other TT'rs.

I do not think it necessary to profane what others deem sacred. Do you?

Necessary? No, but I guess that could depend on what they deem sacred. I have no problem profaning that which is of Satan.

I am sure it is no suprise to anyone on this forum that I consider the mormon god and jesus to be false, and the religion in general to be inspired by Satan, as it bears his signature throughout. I have stated these things openly for about the last two and one half years, and use many opportunities to point out the blatantly false and often absurd nature of it.

I do not believe that my question to Blaine, while it did contain an element of "cuteness" that I probably could have omitted, was any different than anything else I have been posting for the last two years. What was it about this particular post that got you all spun up? Is there something about my profaning Satan that stirs you up?

Additionally, I don't think your posts have been totally without some condesension, and at time quite insensitive. Have your repented from making those types of posts yourself so that you can criticize mine?

And finally, while you may not have considered my post to be in good taste, which it probably was not, it contained no ad hominem attack on either Blaine or his grandfather (or you, for that matter).

Perry
