Because DaveH "many Christians" are quoting their own peculiar doctrine rather than that which was
"once delivered to the saints"; the scriptures teach that God provided a body in the likeness of men and the Word became flesh and dwelt amongst us for a season and a few of the ppl of that generation beheld his glory (at the
Mt. of Transfiguration).  jt

DAVEH:  Forgive me for interjecting a comment.   The problem occurs when somebody (like Mormons) suggest it is possible for man to become like God.  Why it is easy for many Christian to accept that God was a man, but hard to accept that man can become like and one with God is what puzzles me.

Does Judy believe Jesus is both God
and man? How is THAT logical?

I don't see anything illogical about the idea that Jesus is both God and
man. What's the problem?

Peace be with you.
