We are not talking about what can not be found but what has.
Arguments from silence prove NOTHING

There are ample sites available in Central America. There has not been found ONE iota of evidence in support of the BoM.
In addition if this group was really Jaredites, you would expect them to call themselves such, in their extant communications.
Were there any Hebrew writings found?
Why would they forget about the wheeel?
Why would they forget about the God of the Jews?

Not being an expert on Central American archeology, I cannot answer your question, but here is my best guess:  The lands of the Bible have been arid desert or near such for centuries, and for that reason, whatever was found centuries later was often intact, for the most part.
But what about the BoM lands?  Central and Middle America areas are often tropical jungle/rainforest, where ample moisture and vegetation quickly destroy whatever may have been.  Ever been to the area I am talking about?  It is vastly different from Bible lands, for one thing.

Why are they not called Jaredites?
Did they not know their own heritage?

Archaeologists have identified numerous Bible peoples, and have called them by their correct BIBLE names, NOT ONE BoM people group has ever been identified.
