That is correct, Terry. The greatest temptation that Jesus ever faced was
to avoid crucifixion. He had a desire that was contrary to the will of his
Father God in heaven, and Jesus's sinful desire is expressed right there in
Scripture for all to read.

Luke 22:41-44
(41) And he was withdrawn from them about a stone's cast, and kneeled down,
and prayed,
(42) Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me:
nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.
(43) And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.
(44) And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it
were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.

Clearly, Jesus denied himself and denied the desire of his flesh to live.
It was a struggle for him. Yes, he did break a sweat. More than that, he
sweat drops of blood. In other words, it was a huge personal struggle, his
flesh and spirit at odds with one another over what he should do. He denied
his flesh, denied his own will even, and he submitted unto the Father.

Hebrews 12:3-4
(3) For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against
himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.
(4) Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.

Peace be with you.
