Lord, we believe, helps us in our unbelief. James 1:6-7 is not a part of a legal message, explaining to the reader what has to happen before God does his part. In a legal statement, the antithetical is usually true. In regard to the biblical message, the antithetical is seldom true, and, I will say never true because it is antithetical. At least we should not assume such to be the case.
