cd: I am not at odds with you on this but I am wanting to better understand you thinking. Are you stating that the law mentioned are not removed but more in a static state for the church? I can also agree with the dietary but not as a law for the church as Peter was told to slay and eat in the vision-but the Spirit has been promoting my diet to kosher-but if there are only non-kosher food available I eat giving thanks to God . How would you answer this statement David? The Jewish Levitical Priesthood is not part of the church as the veil was rent/torn and what position does this priesthood hold as compared to the Melchizedek Priesthood (not the Mormon type of this priesthood :-). In you statement :"The material obedience to these commandments are only shadows > of a greater reality". Could you explain more. I understand the shadow aspect-but lack insite of what you mean by "material obedience'? Yes, sacrifices continue but are these blood sacrifices as opposed to giving of self? Thanks bro.
