Yeah... you've got a point but I need kernel 2.6 to support the kind
of h/w I have on some servers. As for TSL 2.2 vs. TSL 3.0, it's just
my (admittedly questionable) idea is that using a stable 2.6 kernel
over a rock-solid TSL 2.2 gives me a better combination than 3.0,
plus the other reasons I've mentioned.

I have to admit that I haven't been too smart on this. I've just tried searching
for "mkinitrd" :-}

I know about the --search-file option, but to use it for 3.0 you'd
need a running 3.0 system.
