Hi,

I brought up looking for a non-bugzilla bug tracking solution for Torque
a few days ago and after chasing down a few leads, Bob McWhirter has
come through for us and setup a Torque project on
http://jira.werken.com. Kudos to Bob.

Bob was also kind enough to give me admin access and authorize me to
dole out admin accounts to other torque developers who would like to
work with jira.

I'm looking forward to using this in helping organize the Torque
development effort. I know users post valid bugs/patches/etc. but they
get lost after a few days on the
torque-dev/torque-user/turbine-dev/turbine-user lists.

This seems like a fairly major change in the development process. Does
it need a vote to become official?

Also, we can set jira up to send bug creation/update emails to the
torque-dev list. I'd like to see this happen, but should we also vote on
it to?

Thanks,
Stephen
