OK, fine, I took up the Jetspeed colorscheme on 2.gif, see it at ftp://ftp.dfd.dlr.de/put/reck/TurbineLogo/5.gif Added the URL analogous to Jetspeed and appended a jetstream (which may be extended to contain a title). Now it looks nice! :-) Note that it should be scaled a bit down. I dont believe a shadow fits in? Now maybe Dave Watanabe or somebody can cleanup the turbine weel graphic? And have the blades ends cut by the imaginary outer circle - to avoid the sawtooth look. What is the font type used within the Jetspeed logo - we could also use the same? Maybe this form could develop into a theme that can be adopted by other java.apache.org projects?
