I honestly don't like the Jetspeed logo (just my opinion).  Every logo these
days seems to have a swept arc.  Seems rather tired.

Sure. I'll try to incorporate some of the ideas (yours and other peoples)
into my next iteration (give me a few hours).  Though, as I mentioned
before, the sawtooth idea subtly prods the viewer's mind into thinking
'cutting edge'. (or am I just rationalizing?)

Also, colourization will dampen the sawtooth look somewhat.

I take it there are *no* logo guidelines by either Apache or Java Apache?
