These are great!  Elegant and versatile.  I like the 1.gif the best.

If you wanted to add something, perhaps a circular background to the
glyph.  Or you might want to use a gradient or something to suggest
motion from left to right.  Then again, maybe that's too much. 
Anyway, nice work.
