I don't hate you. I hate the fact that I wasted 5 months of my time with
you.

No. There is a major difference between them. One is distributed from
Apache.org and one is not.

There isn't any competition. WM will die eventually. You will get tired of
constantly trying to compete with Velocity which will continue to gain
market share because it is hosted on Apache.org.

Great. Go put your code up on sourceforge and we will take the bits and
pieces of it that we need and put them into Velocity.

I already decided and I keep telling you this over and over. Velocity will
continue as is.

Dude...just cause the code is under an ASF license doesn't suddenly make it
worthwhile to drop Velocity. Velocity is a much better code base and will
only get better once we integrate the good parts from WM.

It sure does. Velocity is an excellent solution for the community.

Give me a break dude. What you are saying is stupid. I don't represent the
ASF and I have told you that a bazillion times now.

I gave you five months to come up with a workable solution and you gave me
no other choice. What else was I supposed to do? Continue begging you to
make an intelligent decision? This is larger than just you and
me...again...it is the community that matters here.

Yes, we will integrate the good portions of WM into Velocity.

No. working-dog engineers will create a better solution.

No, not the ASF, the community. No one represents the ASF except the board
(of which I'm not a member).
