#1. The Turbine list is not for the discussion of this. You really should be
discussing this on the Velocity Users mailing list. I'm going to ask you to
please stop discussing things here since I'm tired of filling up this
mailing list with this crap and the decision has already been made.
#2. The 4 people (dlr, dave, myself, jason) who currently have commit access
to Velocity want it to continue. This is really the decision of those
people. I'm sorry, but the Jakarta Project does not work as a democratic
union, it operates as a "Minimum Threshold Meritocracy". The people who have
commit access to the project are the people who make the decision.

Maybe not, but Velocity has already started. You can't just change your
license and your policies after months and months of negotiation and expect
everyone to suddenly dump what they are doing (after having given up on you)
and follow you.
Summary:
The decision has been made. I'm not going to discuss it further with you.
Please move the discussion off this list to the Velocity users list, but
don't expect any more replies from me on it.
