There must be misunderstanding on my side or something else, but... Could
someone please explain me the intended use of Groups/Teams? Are they
supposed to be used similar to, say, NT domains? Why would we need that? The
only use I see here is to allow users in different groups have sane
usernames...
I think we need slightly different sort of functionality: to have "projects"
or "objects" so that user can have a specific set of roles for each one. In
the example of scarab I can have Admin & ActiveDev roles in project A and
only Dev in project B. The main difference here is that, if I understood
this correctly, currently a user can belong to only one Group. But in my
example I do not _belong_ to either project A or B, but have an
_association_ with each and roles attributed to each association.
Does this make sense? I feel like e verybody understands what's gooing on
except me ;-(
