Please excuse me but I think that this discussion isn't taking us
anywhere.
We (I'm speaking for myself and Jon here) believe that Turbine servlet
should *not* be subclassed. It's now declared final and it will stay
this way.
I also showed you a way of solving your (transient) problem in Jetspeed,
that does not create a (potential) problem in Turbine.
I believe that you should rather concentrate on converting Jestspeed
components into Turbine services (the real problem) that elaborating
on what hack is less harmful for the purity of framework.
