Or submit patches to Turbine that makes the Services API cleaner for you.

As far as I can tell, the only complaints about the Services API that I can
see are:

#1. You don't like having to create an empty interface.
#2. You don't like the naming convention currently used.
#3. You don't like the dual purpose of the API.

Not good enough IMHO to totally throw away the Services API or even take the
final off of the Turbine Servlet. In fact, within Jetspeed, you can
implement whatever naming convention you want to for your stuff.

Sure, the API may not be perfect, so in that case, you have the itch, help
us scratch it. Otherwise, I think that the Services API is perfectly fine.
