Absolutely. I very much agree with the main message of this thread, I myself was wondering about why the version changes only take place in the 3rd and 4th digit. I guess it has to do with Mark's plan of releasing 1.9.x as a preview of 2.0 doesn't it? That puts an upper bound on the 1.x versions which I don't really think is a good idea. Was there already a 1.9.x release?
